How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Great as always Harry.
Don't you ever get tired of shooting birds?
Wouldn't you rather take some nice puppy pictures instead. rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif

Well done Harry. You still have birds up there? My "backyard" birds have vanished lately. ne_nau.gif Then again...it just might be the NEW pair of osprey that have steaked out territory in my neighborhood. My house is in the middle of their little tree top run. :D Osprey backyard shots...has such a nice ring to it. Wonder if I put some fish out in the living room if I can get them to come in. rolleyes1.gif

Do you flash on all your bridshots Harry? I love the first and second Egret. I have never seen a bird like that in real life... I love how you capture them in flight. No secrets for you birdman!

Thanks Mike. I haven't been to the wetlands lately but they usually slow down this time of the year with most of the birds off nesting and mating. The stream behind my house has been real busy though with GBHs, night herons, and egrets stopping by.

A raptor in the neighborhood would discourage smaller bird from hanging out too long.

thanks Nick. I just finished processing the last of my MI3 shots so you will be seeing them pop up every now and then. The best thing about the Orlando Wetlands is the flocks of birds coming in during the hour before sunset.

Thanks you very much. I did not use flash for these shots but I used my flash quite a bit during my last visit to the rookery in St. Augustine.

Thanks Ben. I love my new lenses. Each one is a winner.
The 85mm F1.4 is the sharpest lens I have shot with. The 300mm F/4 you know about from your own use. I would have loved to have gone with the 300 2.8 but I already have a bazooka with the 500mm and the 300mm F/4 augments the 500mm very well.

The 70-200 F2.8 is the best zoom lens I've used. It works well with the 1.4 TC and it focuses very fast. The 28-70 2.8 is a great carry around lens. The 17-35mm 2.8 is a fine w/a zoom. I really wanted a w/a prime but none matched the 17-35 2.8.

Nice Harry! Very nice, all of them, of course! And you still have my Wood Stork!!!!

(I got a hawk today, but worked up butterflys, the hawk will wait. Thought it was an Osprey, but it is probably a Red Tail, it was In Flight!)

Love your humor with the fish, too.
