congrats. looks like you missed the rain. campfires are fun to try to interpret differently.

we'll be doing the camporee next weekend...I'll follow up with a few shots.

it went just to the north of us... and we had quite a lightning show... but the camera was in the car with one of the adults over in Lawrence getting things for breakfast...:cry

one of my friends had a laser pointer so we were having fun with obscene words and timed exposures.

I really like the first one Daniel but the OOF foreground is a bit distracting. You make me want to go camping now, it's been a long time:cry.

Crop off the bottom fourth of the image to make this one a real winner! Very pleasing.

i tried that but wasn't fond of it... how about some heavy cloning made to fit? or should i stick to cropping.

Our spring camporee was this past weekend, and we got pounded by rain and lightning Friday night. A few moist sleeping bags was the worst of it though we were under tornado watch most of the night.
