Thanks Gus. Brings back memories of last year when my granddaughters visited and I got hooked into taking them to Seaworld in Orlando. I hated the place. Overpriced and overpopulated.

Good pics but don't do it again.

Looks like the old "Marine World". Previously located in Redwood City, CA at
the site of the now Oracle HQ, it relocated to Vallejo, CA many years ago.

I'd been to the Redwood City version once. But never again...

    Nice pics 'gus!

Cool shots Gus. The dolphin reflection shot is really cool, I've never seen a reflection off an animal before. Did you prefocus on the jumping dolphins or just AF?

Harry that link is absolutely ridiculous.

Gus, it looks like HELL! And those photos of "area attractions", they look like antiquities!

Harry, I am not going to discuss what I think about ..............................
and....................but I hope to get some mileage out of that Jesus place!

My whole family goes to Disney World, they don't invite me, they spend all Christmas reviewing photos and adventures. When I say something they say "But Mom, you hate Disney World" (a fact well known).

Then I say, Yes but I like you all and would have liked to spend time with you (all). Or go visit Harry's swamp if the opportunity would have arisen.

I have disliked Disney World since it first opened and my father took me. Then a couple of days later he took me to the Bahamas............guess which one I liked better (he had his own boat, we cruised and snorkled).

My dog group, people love Disney, live for their trips there..........except for me and one other.

Oh, how lucky I am to belong to dGrin and get to see a thread like this first off in the morning. Makes me feel validated!!!!

Nice snapshots, Gus!!! Thanks for sharing. You can do it again, just warn me, as you did this time, and I can ignore the thread if I want.

Mostly, I enjoy the thread, very funny!!!

ginger (we don't have that stuff here..........one aquarium which made a decision not to have dolphins: not politically correct or nice for the dolphins) Our dolphins are often seen in the ocean or the harbor doing what dolphins do naturally!

Gosh it is nice at Magnolia and other plantations! Especially the swamp. Members can "sneak" in the back gate any old time, We all met there Sat at 7 AM. Peaceful. Me and the birds, then the other three showed up. Just us.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

    Dolphin reflection
My dolphin did not come out as nice as yours! I love the black and white version... Stupid question maybe, do you need a polarizer to get the reflection???

I love your fish!!! I was in seaworld Orlando, and as a european I was pretty impressed... Of course we were there outside touristy season, I dare not think about going there in summer.... Crowded already in january, but not the big big masses...

    Here is my un-reflection-like fish

I wondered about going to the Holy land, but I am very much against all religion, so I thought it was going to be too much... Thanks for the warning!
