ISO Speed: 200
Aperture: f2.8
Shutter: 10s
Focal Length (mm): 17
The furnace was pretty much pitch black so the 10 second exposure used light from the opening and possibly from a sight-glass somewhere. That is my guess-planation for the green light. This is in the Museum of Industry in Waltham and I could have turned on the light but did not choose to. :-)
If you pull down the larger unprocessed image you will see the sensor noise from the older camera.

That's easily my favorite shot of yours so far. Easily. Abstract, colorful, lovely brickwork for texture... the only thing I don't like is the lightbulb. Nice work.

I will be near there with another dgrinner tomorrow and maybe we can try with his new D300 and the 18-55 and with his D300 and my 17-35. Be worth it to see the diff anyway.

Ya wanna try it with the 300D, huh? I'm game :-). I've been driving my daughter nuts trying to get a handle on that thing.
