Ch.63 Diff ideas

Hello all

Struggling to come up with creative ideas for Ch.63, and here's my two main attempts so far. Please do let me know which direction you think I should take and refine. Thanks!

Idea 1 - Train zooming out of the station (20 second exposure) EXIF

Idea 2 - Strobed walking (30-second exposure, multiple flashes as the subject walked past) EXIF

And ofcourse, this is not for submission, but I was playing around with a pen torch and writing in thin air is fun for sure :D

    The train shot! I really like the effects. The only thing I see that detracts my eye is the bush in the right corner and the bright light of the sign in the upper right corner. The shot of the guy walking is also very good. Has all the elements of the challenge, but the eye catcher is the train shot.

    The strobe idea is excellent (and unusual) but the train photo is better. I'm sure there's room for improvment in the strobe shot but I'm sorry, I have no suggestions.

    The train
    I like that one the best.

    The strobed walking is neat, and good execution of the idea but it just lacks visual interest.

    #1 the train is the one I like - great motion capture. I like the bright colors - this shot grabs your attention.

    Thanks guys - I'll go with the first theme. I'll do a reshoot and try to get rid of the distractions (like Charbu has pointed out, the bright bush in the foreground is distracting even to me).

    I'm with the rest of them, the train is best of the group.

    I like the idea of the strobe, but I think it has to have more action and
    something that stays still to anchor it. Something like the golf swing shot,
    or the tennis serve.

    The train shot is just a bit to bright. A ND filter would maybe help.

    In #1, crop out the blue phone on the right. You'll have a good, square-format entry.:D
