Hi Harry,

I'm afraid I ain't got no egrets to show you, but I do have some reasonable shots of big rocks, if that'll do.

We went to Yosemite last weekend and unfortunately, I didn't see you there. :dunno
I guess we were just a little late for the dgrin adventure trip. :cry

    Hey, Fish!

Who cares what Harry has to say? Come on aboard. We don't listen to Harry. Just make yourself at home.

Oh, and nice shots, too. I like 1 and 3 quite a bit. 4 feels like it's leaning left, to me.

Well welcome aboard Fish clap.gifcheerleader.gif always a pleasure when you come a-calling. Pay no mind to David he tends to get delusional at times (only when he's awake which fortunately is not too often).

Not bad shots considering there are no egrets in them. Makes me want to get out there more than ever.

Thanks for the lift. I have a colonoscopy scheduled for tomorrow and it has been a David kind of day.

    Hi there Fishwave.gif

I remember you from way back. Love the Yosemite shots. No. 1 is sooooo peaceful.thumb.gif

So you've gone to the mountains for RR huh? I can't believe there aren't some beautiful shots around just crying out to be captured for posterity or sharing. The Sierra are some really beautiful mts.thumb.gif How busy can you be? Turning into one of those guys who only breaks out the camera for vacations, huh?

So glad to hear from you. Come again and stay awhile 'kay?

Nah, I made the decision to leave after 18 years at the coal mine. Yesterday my old boss did the same thing, but I'm not sure it was on his own terms. ne_nau.gif

Hi snappy! For some reason, Cathedral Rocks get no respect from photographers. ne_nau.gif They've really done a nice job restoring the meadows in the park. Most of them are roped off so idjuts can't trample them. As an aside, shortly after I shot that series, a tour bus full of Koreans showed up and started snapping the heck out of a deer that was hanging out under one of the trees to the left. I didn't see any lenses pointed at the rocks. I guess they don't see many deer in Korea? We have does wandering around our front yard every day. Fortunately, we've got a 7' deer fence around about 3 acres so they can't get at the roses, azaleas, and rhododendrons. I've been meaning to shoot them, but the kids don't like veniz...er, I just haven't gotten around to it. They're quite cute with their big brown eyes and long eyelashes. We should start seeing fawns in the next 10-12 weeks.

ouch...that hurts. I've been focusing on getting dirt under my fingernails, rather than simply pointing a camera at it. Photography has taken a backseat to the my more ethereal pursuits, such as playing on the Kubotas, clearing land, and horticulturalizing (and soon veggies). Sadly, I've been riding bikes about as much as I've been shooting.
So glad to hear from you. Come again and stay awhile 'kay?
