Upload with keywords/tags?

Hi all,
New smugmug user and loving it so far! I'm looking for a new image organizer (using Picasa now but I want to start tagging images). I am trying to research which organizers, if any, will send the keywords/tags to smugmug when I upload. For example, let's say I tag a photo as "beach". I would like to upload it to smugmug and have the "beach" tag go with it, so I don't have to re-tag everything on smugmug. (Also, I want some kind of universal tagging standard so if I change image programs in the future I don't lose all of my tags.)
Make sense? I think both ACDSee8 and Corel Photo Album 6 can do this somehow, but I wanted to check with more experienced users.
