Rusty chain in 3D

perhaps not exactly 3D but I like the depth of this shot. What do you think?

G'day ted...great subject & plenty of light but it is a bit over saturated on my monitor. That rust is almost fluro.

The fluro is what grabbed my attention. I do not know what metal this was - the links are big - child's hand size. They are usually submerged in the ocean. This was shot in bright overcast on low tide.

As Gus mentioned its over satured .....on my screen as well.
But you did well with that it looks very life like indeed ..... Skippy (Australia)

OK, i've re-edited the photo and overlayed it with b&w layer of the same at low% fill. I have also reduced yellow to red range saturation. Perhaps my monitor needs another calibration.

Good to hear from you Awais. It is interesting that you've said that as the chains do look like the surrounding rocks. However, the similarity is there because the rust has stained substantial number of the rocks.
