Hey have to take the shots that make the 'person who buys the camera equipment' happy:D Thanks for looking!
Acrocona, cones at the ends of the barnche so sort of self prunes
Aureospicata, flushes bright gold which looks pretty wild with the dark green older needles
Abies pinsapo ' Aurea' Don's pride and joy, probably the most beautiful conifer we have. Hard to find one with any size and the cost was, well a very good down payment on some L glass. We do have priority issues here:wxwax

Hah! but I did get the 400 5.6L. here ya go chickie babe, your new toy, now not one word about the conifers. Couse he is well past the cost of that and it isn't even May yet Aha I do see the 35 f1.4L in my future.........

Thank you very much. The lens is the EF-S 60 f2.8 macro and the shots were stopped down to f7. I love that lens and it is sharp wide open. It (the lens) has a real learning curve for me, very useful, I use it quite a bit.

Not yet. They aren't really in full swing and I'm trying to figure out what lens to use. Sometimes whole tree shots work best with the 70-200 at 200 I seem to get more overall detail that way, operator issues probably:):
