    I know how you feel about the $1000 on a lensmwink.gif , but paying for it is the hardest part, now the fun begins!

    Well....I was out today and was very pleased with it. When people say the zoom is stiff, they are right, except that does not accurately describe the feel of the zoom. It's like rotating a cam that starts just before it's high point. It takes some effort to get it going.....then you go too fast because you are exerting too much force for the downward slope of the cam action. Make sense?

    Now I see how people get the shots they do! It wasn't JUST me screwing up.rolleyes1.gif
