Opening night for An Evening of Russian Dance is a week from Thursday. Opening night for Carmen is the following Thursday.

The most interesting thing to see is the work on Carmen. The dancers are working closely with the choreographer, Jorma Elo to figure out what's going to work and what isn't. I watched Sabi Varga design this one jump with Jorma.







How far could they take it?



I also saw one of the first full call rehearsals for Carmen. It's amazing to see the conception come together.

I always love your ballet shots, but these are the best you've posted!!! I especially like the series of Sabi designing the jump. They are all great!!

i really like #2 and how you can't quite see what she's doing so you have to look in the mirror opposite her to get a good perspective.
