Wedding jitters...
I had a childrens wedding yesterday. A school ran a project about grown up life, and marriage was one of the themes.
I was the photographer. I went in on time, so I had time to check the church and lighting conditions.
I did set up my camera on what I thought was manual, instead I had set it on A which is aperture setting. (I am dutch speaking, so often I confuse terms).
I checked on the LCD screen if the pics were sharp, and wether the levels were ok. When I came home and downloaded the pics, I noticed that a lot of them were blurred. Well, most of them were. I had not seen that on the LCD.
This was a first time shoot, and nerves made me forget about shutterspeed, so with children shutterspeed should be on the top of the list.
I wonder how long it will take me before nerves won't be there anymore, can this get better, or shall I stay away from now on from projects?

This is a second picture, with unsharp mask applied. I wonder if this will be good enough to deliver to the parents.
I will post one more in a next post, that I think is very funny...

the one in the red jacket is the groom, next to him is the best man. Look at his face...

I dont know what the full size version looks like but this small one looks nice enough quality wise. I like the shot and I know his parents would.
Definatly do not avoid doing projects, just make sure the people know you are learning but will do your best.
