    Was he really that red?!

In Photoshop -> Color Balance -> -50 Red - just to give you some sort of idea. This seemed more realistic to me.

He doesn't look red on my screen.

I don't really mind the reddish/ruddyness of the skin tone. It could be seen as a quality of light.
I do appreciate the eye candy. He is quite handsome and well put together.

However, his eyes look soft/watery/ cloudy......older than the rest of him.

A-men, and I agree. I'd like to see something... a little more piercing from the eyes? it's a bit of a... dichotomy from the rest of him. (at least in this shot)

The others are a bit more gentle.

I think it's something to do with the shape of the catchlight.

It might also be because he's wearing light colored contacts. I don't think that was his natural eye color. But I didn't ask.

He does look red to me also. I think it looks more natural like this: (hope you don't mind me touching your photo!)

Then again, I've never seen him in real life either.

At any rate, I think these are really great - especially the black and white ones. You should be proud of these, Trish.

I do not mind at all. He was a little ruddy, but probably not as red as in the pictures.

I forgot to take a white balance reference shot. Had a card in my pocket for the whole shoot. I have to get better at remembering that.

Fortunately he needs the images in black and white. (whew! ;)

    thanks,
    Trish
