My new Canon 70-200 f/2.8L lens stands up to the high praise I have seen so often in the reviews. I tried it out on my neighbor's dog, and I am delighted with the results. Thought that I would share the results with this group.

    It's a great pic of a very cure dog. Still I think a bit more contrast would help the pic even more.

    Thanks for the response, Dick. Please share with me what part of the picture made you feel that more contrast would be better.

    Thanks, Harry. It is a wonderful lens but an arm buster on hikes. I now know that photography may be considered a muscle-toning exercise.:D

    Don't know. Both her eyes have white irises. The neighbors got her from a "friend of a friend," whose dog happened to have puppies. She's a neat dog and follows commands better than my kids.
