GBH Family: Tree living
Taken last Sat, still have more from that day. Am getting to a bit each day!
Full Frame, by the way.......sometime that morning. 400mm plus 1 1/4 extender
I think that last one might be my favorite. I could call it father's day. I think the baby resembles the "father".
Below, in camouflage, is just one reason I cannot get closer.

I made each of these darker. I hope they are better now. Or better "enough", I would guess I would mean.:):

Funny about the gator, someone pointed him out to me..............always, I would be right in the middle of a bird shot (a good (?) bird shot), and someone, even other photographers, my husband, whoever, they pull me over to see gators.
This one I decided to "take"! Thought all that "cover" might make him a shot, but did not really take it seriously.
Now the gator is stealing the show, smile!
I have darkened the other shots and been working on some egret shots. Three days of shooting over last weekend, and I am not quite through with working things up, yet!
I don't think anyone wants to go to the rookery in the AM, will see what the weekend brings.
Will trade the darker shots of the herons for these as soon as I bring them down to smugmug, etc.
thanks for stopping and thanks for commenting.:):

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
