Here's a 1-inch thick piece of Lexan polycarbonate, having four layers. A .357 Magnum was fired at this from 15 feet away and, while it went through the first layre, it was stopped by the second. Trying to show the energy dissipation of the laminations was a bit tough, but hey: I tried....and tried...and tried.
