Friday practice and qualifying @ California Speedway. Overall a very fun day of shooting. Could have used a little more sun but at least it wasn't raining!

    Thanks for the comments! Yeah, #2 is one of my favorites of the day.

    lets see, all shots were ISO100 Nikon D200

    #1 at 1/500 F4 (shutter priority)
    #2 at 1/800 F3.2 (aperture priority)
    #3 at 1/100 F9 (shutter priority)
    #4 at 1/350 F2.8 (aperture priority)

    I really like the composition on Primore's Suzuki(s) and on the Kawi's in the pit.

    The one of Bostrom is great too.

    That PU Ducati is a really sweet shot. Like Waxy, I would be proud if it were
    mine.

    While up at Alice's today, I saw what appeared to be the Ducati
    Ambassador rolleyes1.gif I wish I'd taken my camera. He was wearing
    a Ducati Beret, Ducati T-shirt, Ducati fanny pack, Ducati suspenders,
    etc. He was prolly in his 60's riding a 996. I guess he might've been a
    dealer--either way, he had all the kit :D
