    Yep, that new lens has to earn it's keep! :D

    Maybe a little less sharp would be better? I've been trying out nik sharpener which lets you sharpen selected colors. In this case I highly sharpened the browns and blacks while doing minimal on the greens and blues.

    I like them sharp and popping with minimum post processing but it may be like that becouse all of my lenses are soft:cry .
    I try not to over do them and this one I think that it's ok, you are on the safe side:): .
    Interesting about selective sharpening in this one is that it produce a strong sense of depth and I like that.

    This is supposed to mean: It is not enought to have a good lens to take good pictures, but it helps a LOT.

    That is old news rolleyes1.gif. How about a new lens that even in usable light conditions keeps hunting for focuseek7.gif and when it hit it it's probably 50/50 chance to be front/back focus.
    Agree, gear is'nt everything:D but for some shots it could make a difference.
