I saw this little guy in the Sepulveda Basin today, and he seemed friendly and used to humans. So is there a way he can be caught, and therefore saved from becoming prey? He may survive on his own, which might be good for him, because he did look pretty happy.

Beautiful shot William. Gorgeous bird too. It makes you wonder how long it's been out in the wild.

Nice capture William. This female budgie looks very healthy to me. Her changes to survive are more than average because budgies are very strong and inventive animals, but cats and uncarefull people trying to catch her will be the big dangers.

I carry on all my trips a small birdcage in the trunc of my car "just in case..." You can lure her with seeds of even a piece of bread and lead het into a cage.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice capture!thumb.gif I guess that's the best way to do it. What I do is throw a towel over them to trap them, then I can grab em without hurting them.

Put a patch over one eye...don a three point cap...and go "arrrrrrrrr" a lot. :lol4

A hook for a hand and a peg leg wouldn't hurt either!

People want to know about the old guy with a patch on one eye, more guns than an LA gang, bird cage, towel, and a loaf of bread who was found wandering around in the bushes, calling, 'here pretty baby, come to daddy....here pretty baby.....And the answer is.....No bird found, but I guess he will be safe and sound without human intevention. Thanks all for the suggestions, even though some were some what unusual.
