Thankyou everyone. I couldn't believe how peaceful she looks just 2 hours after such a dramatic entry. Babies are little angelsiloveyou.gif

    Wow
She looks great at only 2 hours old! What a cute little filled out face with nice chubby cheeks!

Very cute! My son, when he was that old, looked like a shaved ape, with one side of his head caved in from the birthing process (he's still not gorgeous, but better looking than I am). Given that for a baseline, I think you may have troubles when this little cuttie gets into the 12-16 yo range. I don't envy you.

Oh, about the pic - nice control of the sometimes very harsh lighting!

Thanks Dee...Yes her head began to shape pretty quickly (the hat helped hide the bit that was still wonky), and she was a fairly big girl at 8 pounds 15ounces. Her lovely chubby cheeks were the first thing I noticed too.

    Thanks Scott...
I had to underexpose and correct in raw processing which I don't like doing, mostly because of noise levels (my little fuji s5500 has bad noise) but it all worked out ok. The only light I had was one fluro above the bed.

Mum and baby are at home now, so more portrait sessions to come :D
