On Mother's Day

Niles Canyon Rail Road Mother's Day special Event. All the moms got a silk rose and a choice of sparkling cider or champagne. This elderly mom just got her rose. The conductor is reflected in her sunglasses after checking her ticket, and wishing her a happy mother's day.
I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.
