I own a lot of birds myself and I throw the left-over seeds from a previous day in my backyard. This does lure some wild birds into my backyard. My house is also a “hospital” for less fortunate wild birds (hit by car, attacked by cat i.a.)

I posted a thread on other forums asking for advice about exposure in aggressive bright sun. This was the opportunity to implement some of the gathered advices.

This series are birds strictly out of my own little backyard and captured with the D200 today (except 1).

I hope you enjoy the captures.

CC's are more than welcome.

Some nice shots you've got, Dick. Some interesting birds too. I've not seen many of them. How do you prepare them? Stir fry? eek7.gif:D

Good set Dick but 13 shots are a tad much to view and comment on. Anyhow good work on those shots. Your work is improving. thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Dick..
So many birds I have never seen before, all nicely captured. You're fortunate to have such wonderful diversity of birds in your area. Thanks for sharing.

    Really good little bird shots!

I can comment on lots of shots, just lump them together and say great shot, smile!

No, there is one, a baby it looks to me, at the end, or towards the end, I lean to that one, but they are all very good!

How do you get them to hold still? Bet you don't let the dogs out!

    Haha, no, good shooting!
