it's actually called the Marshlands Conservancy I think and it's right off of route 1 near the rye golf club. the entrance is quite small - there's just a sign and a one lane road that's not all that easy to see but it's a nice property that goes all the way down to long island sound. i've seen deer, turkeys, and all sorts of birds...

That first shot really is a "wow" shot. You sure used the backlighting to your advantage and the exposure is perfect. My only nit is that I'd like more room in front of the Egret than behind it. But that is really minor. Super shot, the rest are good also but that first one really shines.
