Hi Y'all,

After 6 trips up to the rookery in St Augustine I finally had some time to see part of the town on my last trip.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice to see you shooting something besides birds Harry. It looks like it is a touristy type of town.

Thanks, It was a nice change to shoot something other than wildlife. It was good to be able to get a bit more creative in PS.

    Nice
I love seeing more of Florida than your feathered buddies :-)

That does look like a touristy town... but nothing wrong with that if it keeps it clean, safe, and photogenic, is there?

Thanks Nick. St Augustine is filled with tourists from cold places such as Chicago. rolleyes1.gif Its hard on us but we try to put up with those sun deprived refugees. :D

Glad to accomodate you Dee. :D The city is filled with very interesting architecture. I hope to do a lot more shooting up there. The place is a tourist trap but there's a good reason for its popularity.

Thnaks Ivar. Its a good place to visit. I hope to get back top the old city at the end of the year for their Festival of Lights.

The mill is a tough shot because the scene is beyond the dynamic range of the camera if you try to get the sky in. You will usually blow the sky. That's why I shot it so tight.

The fort is right where it always has been. :D When I got there the light sucked so I will be shooting it the next time I hit the old city.
