Is it legal to delay payment?

It looks like I may get over $200 from print sales before the year is out, but I've looked at the paper work that I would have to fill out and this looks like it would be a big pain in the butt. I wouldn't want to have to do it if I just make the minimum. Would it be possible for me to not get payment at all this year and then get payment next year? I realize I would save on taxes if I got paid this year (it wouldn't be enough to be taxable so I would get a refund, but next year it might make it enough to be taxable so I would get no refund), but I just rather do without the pain of tax paperwork.
