Small point & shoot and Photoshop

I get sick of carrying my DSLR and gear around with me all the time - especially since I ride a motorcycle. I picked up a Sony DSC-W5 and absolutely love it in most situations. I took this picture in Louisville the other day of The Great Steamboat Race (one of our pre Kentucky Derby activities) in full color but changed it to Sepia using this technique: http://www.artworld.si/advanced_sepia_toning_antique-tutorial-224.art
The camera has a Sepia setting but I like doing it this way better and you can decide later which effect looks best anyway. I just wanted to share the cool Sepia link and to let people know that some of these point and shoots do a great job now. Mine is the W5 (5.1MP) and the W7 (7.2MP) just came out and is almost identical except for the MP count.

I also ride and it's is a challenge to carry a dslr
I usually use a Domke bag and strap it down to the sissy bar
Works ok I carry 20D,24-70,70-200,10-22,angle finder....
But I do carry and get some good photos with the 717 when I don't feel like lugging around all that stuff

I don't have a sissy bar on my current bike but I know I'll need to get one soon since my girlfriend's complaining:D
The name of the boat is the Delta Queen. I think it's out of Cincinatti. It always races the Belle of Louisville. The Delta Queen won this year. I think it's rigged though.

Use to see and hear the boat and the music all the time when I was a kid.
Thanks
