When in a remote computer, open a Password Protected Gallerie.
It will stay opened - I do not know for how long - even if we restart the computer.
I tested this just now at my wife's computer by my side.
I tested this today in Lisbon at my daughter's office.
Am I making anything wrong ?
Is there a way to fix this ?
Is it my fault ?
Does it happen to you ?

I am in a hotel lobby, as I was the other day in Malaysia/Borneo, and I can't delete the cookies.
I know now that they at the hotel, can go and see my passworded galleries.
The ones I showed then to my travel companions ...
Something should be done. Am I wronge ?
Antonio, it will expire, so you shouldn't worry.

I did it yesterday ay my computer's wife by my side.
Today, local time 11.25h yes, it is gone.
BUT
1. I acess in a cybercafe my password protected gallery (PPG).
2. Close the Internet Explorer.
3. A guy I have never seen in my life goes and access my PPG ?
At the office:
1. I acess the PPG.
2. I go out for coffee because I am the boss and I go in and out when I feel like.
3. My employies go to my computer, open my supposed PPG and watch my confidencial pics ?? !! ... It's business and supposed to be confidencial !! ...
Another experience:
1. Acess your home page with passord.
Go in as if you were in a public computer.
2. Go to PPG. Do nothing, just update it.
3. Return to your homepage and / or Close IExplorer.
5. Open IExp.
6. Acess the PPG.
7 . It opens !!!!! ....
8. Acess others PPG: They are OK, they do not open.
Is there anything you can do about it except: Don't use a PPG ?
Sorry but I don' t like it. At all.
Thanks.
I'll see if this can be made into a session cookie, not a 24 hour cookie.
Thanks Antonio

If this becomes a session cookie then does the cookie get automatically deleted after you turn off your browser? If so, that is spectacular!
This may seem like a stupid question, but is Andy talking about making that change "smugmug wide" or just for your site, Antonio?

We open the passworded galleries and, as we go out of the site, the cookie is deleted and the password vanishes.
I think that is most private and pragmatic.
Andy: Your turn please. You know much more than I do ...
I don't do anything about it. I asked the engineers about this. If anything would be done, it would be done for all, not just Antonio's site.
No promises on if or when.

I wouldn't dare to think so !...
But one thing is clear I think: this must be fixed ! One way or another ...
Am I wronge ?
Antonio - we got it, thank you.

There's nothing "broken" that needs fixing, btw. We say, 24hours. It's in our help section. That's not a bug that needs fixing.
Now, please, patience and let's see what may happen.
