b&w pics

Could someone have a look at these conversions please. I used the program Yuri recommended in this thread.

    I know little about B&W but lighting is more critical than colour for that real snazzy result. They look ok to me...not stellar but great none the less.

    I forgot rule number 1:

    take a good picture rolleyes1.gif

    then convert..........

    thanks gus, I will shoot all raw at the wedding so I should have some lattitude with exposure. They have a pro covering the wedding so there's no pressure on me. I would like to get a couple of decent shots tho... I will have to hunt for some guinea pigs to practice on.
