Please release me, let me go...(12 pics)
The Raptor Release in Minnesota.
I, like most people think that the shots that I take, suck.
Not this time. I'm really happy with what I got. Most of these are
cropped quite a bit, one, I really need to do over cause I tried to
remove someones head from the shot, but I didn't do a very good job of it.
Canon XT, Canon 70-300is lens. PSE4 for post.
Coopers hawk
The First Red Tailed Hawk
The Second Red Tailed Hawk
This gentleman won the chance to release this hawk by having his named pulled
from a bowl. The names of people that joined the rapter center at the release
were the ones with their names in the bowl.

Dave, the isolation shots of the birds in the air are really great - nice job!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Harry your right, it was a thrill. I may never get to see a bald eagle
released again. I'm so happy that I didn't blow it.
They said that the eagle weighed in at 14 pounds, 2 pounds more than
any other eagle that they had released.
Thanks again.
