Its a blurry unsharp low contrast B&W. Sorry....but for me i like just those things in a B&W. The movement can work very well but generally some part of the shot would be good in focus ie the back ground or pan with the rider (hard to do).

But ne_nau.gif photography is art & art is subjective.

I think this shot has a "look" to it. I think there's motion and camera-movement blur here, but it lends itself to the busy, grungy look. (Even the word CRUNCH in the background)
I think adding some grain or noise to it might even further emphasize the busy scene.

I agree with both gus and nimai-

even before reading gus' comments I was looking for something to be in focus, like the crunch sign-

and if you've got a photo like this with this kind of feel, some grain to give it the tri-x look might help-

    plus a little pop-

    but, as gus said, 'subjective'-

I took the liberty of downloading your pic just to tweak on it a little-

I did not realize that I was not looking at all the picture-

if everybody else is seeing a part of the pic like I am, they're missing out-

I think this is much more effective when you see it all-

maybe try medium or even small with this pic?-

take a look with sharpening and some grain if you're of the mind-

I would not have thought that seeing all of a pic versus just a portion would make all that difference-

    I like it-
