Need a Mother's Day gift idea?
Since my wife will be out of town for her sister's graduation next weekend, we celebrated this morning. Spiced apple pancakes with apple syrup were a hit with everyone and the kids made some nice cards, but what made her really tear up was the Photo Book from Shutterfly I put together on Tuesday night. Had it shipped two day so it would get here on time.
I had about 34 pictures on the 20 pages, some going back to my ancient Sony P5, most with my F717, and some recent ones from the 20D. I went with the Tan suede hardcover book and it really came out great. Highly recommended - I will be doing more in the future. One hint: upload the pics first before starting the book rather than trying to do it halfway through. Give yourself several hours to get it all right. It would be awesome if smugmug/EZprints did books for one-stop shopping (nudge nudge).
