This is rather short but what came to my mind when looking at it immediately was:
Nice concept, bad angle.
I like your subject, he's very interesting but I don't think the picture draws you in- maybe it's too straight on. You tried to put him off center which is good but I would have liked to see more dimension to the character. Maybe instead of standing directly infront of him you would take some where you were off to the side of him. Do you have anything like that?
But, again I really like the idea so I hope you post more of the same if you can.

I did get some of him sleeping from the side, they are not as close up, but I will take a look at them and see what I can do.....I even have one of him from the back when I spotted him in the distance........and one where he woke up and caught me looking at him........
I agree with you about the front view, I was thinking it was most appropriate for the "portrait" part, but I guess a portrait can be from the back or side just the same........thank you for your suggestions.......I'll go have a look see clap
