Nik, my son's there right now, with his friends. Every year I curse myself for letting them go, and swear I never will again. I so don't trust those rides. They pop 'em up from the back of a truck, run 'em for a few days, and then drive off to the next place. What kind of oversight is there for that? My kids are hurled up in the air on things that are never or poorly inspected...I mean, if people can die at Disneyland, which would be much more regulated and inspected....oy, shudder, tremble

OK, end of soapbox.

You're daughter is quite the Jack of all trades. Or Jaquelina. Anyway, looks like a great time. Hard shooting in the harsh mid-day sun of CVD.

Yeah, I know what you're saying... Luckily, the sheer height of these local rides are far from those in SixFlags...:-)

My Helen has just returned. Tired and sunburnt. Nobody warned her. She was at the grill pretty much the whole day
