    One of our master databases crashed. This is a fairly rare occurence, and we want to make sure the data isn't corrupted before putting it back into production.

    We have a live slave replica of that data standing by to take over if there is data corruption of some type, but it's going to be a little while longer before we know for sure.

    Sorry for the outage. We're frantically working on the problem.
