Yikes! Driver paused only briefly after he stopped before he hit the throttle and kept going again.

    Those karts have 9.5 hp Honda 4-stroke engines, so they hit about 40mph. Enough to be a thrill. The 125cc 2-stroke shifters can hit 65-70 on that track, and I've seen them push 100 on a big track.
