What do you mean by "without card"?

What do you think about these pictures ?
The flash was bounced and the camera was set to 800 ISO.
Against the "rules" I shot on Program. As a matter of fact there was a different light in the different positions I was supposed to shoot.
Thank you for looking. Please comment.
I am very entusihastic about these results ... :):
    Thank you. thumb.gif

It's kind of difficult to tell from the small images, but it appears you got the hang of it (now, if only I could do the same, practice, practice...). Even the last one, with the very strong backlighting came out very useable, and, if deemed necessary, it would take very little work to get the exposure re-worked on that one to make it very good. I like the results.

In all the images, the light is quite soft (nice!) which, I guess, helps to give depth to the photo.

In my book, that makes these very good images.

Today is a public holliday in Portugal.
When I came to the computer the morning I found no e-nails and was very sad ...
But you have commented my pictures and I thank you for that. :):
Herewith a large version of some photos for you to appreciate and critycize.

Here one thing happened which gave me a help: the ceiling is very low. About 2,5 m height and it is white.
Ah ! ... One thing that has to be more tested: the reflecting card is light gray.
With ISO at 100 the result was:

Here there was no detail at the end of the room, by the woman ...
It's also true that the 100 ISO picture has not been photoshoped and the other has been with curves ( I'm learning everyday :bash ) ...
The ISO 800 gave a large help on the picture though with a little noise... ne_nau.gif
    One can't have all perfect ... :D

You said "in my book that makes these very good images" I am missing something ?

Scott. I do appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Sorry about the mis-communication. This is American slang. It roughly means that when apply my standards of quality, these picture are very good and that I try to make images just as good (but mostly fail).

Are you missing something? Nothing important - just an introduction to American slang.

The larger images do make it easier to see. You were certainly helped by the low ceilings. They make boucing flash so much easier.
