RacerX Senior Series....RD 1.
I covered the first round of the RacerX Senior Series, at the Byron Motosports Park last Saturday, for Cycle USA. It was a great day, tons of riders..."old guys":D , +25 to +60. Here are just a few shots from the day..
Waiting to practice.
First turn pile up.....they all walked away.
High speed through the whoops!
A clean holeshot!
Heading for the win....
Speed shot..
All shots with the 20D and 70-200L F2.8, the last was done with the 550EX as well. I shot right 2000 photos that day, I had just got 2 new 2GB High Speed Lexar CF cards two days prior....needed them!
Thanks for looking...comments always welcomed...sometimes feared!:lol3

I need to go out to the track soon.
Setup: One camera, one lens, and one roll of film.
Your shots are very good and I like the last best.
About the the ( Old Guys at +25 ) The last bike I road was a 1981 CR-480 4sp. That should show my age. Give us ( Old Guy's a Break ) we might be painting that $ 100,000.00 bike of your dreams to park in your garage.
Your photos do inspire me to do to be more agresive at the track. In the photo department.
Old guys....I'm a plus 40 guy myself..so I'm still wondering how +25 made the "Senior" series! My last off-road bike was an 85 Honda XR350...so there ya go. The last time I rode on the track in the pic's was 2 years ago..bruised my sternum...hurt for a month:cry
Thanks for the compliments!
Thanks...I like the last one too. I was playing around with second curtain sync believe it or not.
(Its something i intend to practice at my next event)
What was your exif jeffro ?

Thanks for the compliments.
Thomas, Sid, thanks for the kind words as well.
Now if I can get it to stop raining on the weekends I may be able to get back to the track before winter sets in.
But that last one, that pano, totally rocks!
Thanks you sir, I'm glad to take another...compliment!:D
