The Sun and the moon

The Sun, before setting into the haze and slight cloud cover. I was out there to take photos of the moon rising out of the ocean, there was too much haze for that. I would think the eclipse photos would be good from here as it was pretty clear higher up, but I was not going to stay on that beach by myself for hours to get them. g

The first photo I got of the moon, below. That is how high it was when it came up.

I was particularly interested in getting the ocean in my shots. I was not after the moon per se, I was after the moon in relation to the ocean off the east coast of the USA.

    Love those shots Ginger... I especially like the last one, where the movement of the water is so nicely captured.
    I think you did a great job in relating the moon to the ocean...

    In some cases, like this, I probably should have moons to place in the white spaces.
