Hey all.... I'm new to action/sport phtography and need a suggestion.
I'm using Digital Rebel XT... most of the time I have my 300 IS on.
When I need to go wider I use the stock lens 18-55mm.
I get my wider angle, but I need to get closer...
Any sugggestions????

Thanks,
Andy

p.s. Your knowledge of photography is an amazing inspiration...
thank you all

Not sure I completely understand the question, Andy. You need something to fit between the 300 and the 18-55?

Sounds like a job for the most excellent 70-200. Perhaps you can rent one in Philly, see if it fits your needs?

Oh now I understand him. The Canon 70-300mm/4.5-5.6 IS USM
is a great value between your 55mm and 300mm. Or like wxwax
said a 70-200mm. Good luck with your selection Andy!
