    Yes you may and thank you

    I use Nikon capture for most of my raw work and have a preset for initial sharpening there. If I feel a need for more then I will do that in Lab/Lightness channel using a little more USM, somewhere around 75, .5, 0
    I also will at this point select only the subject and not the background (if possible).
