    To bad I missed the best part, just a few moments after this shot a moth flew right in front of him, and he jumped and made the grab!

    I'll have to follow this guy and try some "grab" shots...lol

    science factoid of the day
    hi Sparky - I had to laugh at all the "interesting view" comments, I guess it's all what you're used to. I see this "shot" all the time in little Pacific tree frogs in my research lab. I have a student studying their drinking behavior. Did you know that frogs don't drink w/ their mouths? They suck up what ever water they need through their skin - specifically, the part that you see pressed up against the glass. Apparently, they can also taste w/ their skin too. Heidy, my student, makes her frogs thirsty and then watches them as they move around a glass tank looking for water and making choices about whether they choose water with a little bit of salt or not.

    enough science, back to photography:D Nice shot and I like the black bkgd, it really brings out the green in this guy.

    I didn't know they recieved their water through the skin. That's interesting. Learn something new everyday :)
