Kind of a difficult wedding for a photo journalist. Gallery
I covered the "bride getting ready" -- but it was all in a small hotel room. How many photos of "getting hair done" and "getting makeup on" could I take? I had 3 hours of coverage and a room full of girls who didn't really want to have their photos taken.
Then there was the formals. Nice place, but the other photog comes into play there. The people not being shot by him weren't doing anything "photo genic" -- so I just started setting up my own "formals" shots.
The ceremony was 10min -- and it was over. Geez!
