    These are both pretty good, the first one needs a little something but I dont know exactly what. The Barbed wire one is very nice. Love the pretty colors in the sky with the uglyness of the barbed wire in front.

    PS, your self protraits are nice, love the black and white, you look tough in it.

    I don't get anything from the BH shot. But the barbed wire is very nice.
    I like the lighting, color combination and the DOF in the shot.

    I like these shots...
    The first one speaks of a world that I dont know (its great that you can share some of this here at dgrin).... something about this photo is appealing, perhaps thats its so foreign to me??? Not sure, but I looked at it for a while....

    The Barbwire shot is very nice, sharp colour and interesting subject... again I think says something about your world which is foreign to mine...

    I like the fact the landscape is dry, brown and worn.... looks tired.

    I think the heli shot needs more contrast to work in BW can you put up the colour.
