I am a community builder. I have invited some other smugmugers to join in. Some have taken me up and thats great.
Sad thing is I cannot get further messages to them unless they have left their private email address on the website. OR I leave a comment on a picture and hope they will find it that way.
am I missing something?
Thing is I would like to share some ideas about our community but I have no way of making them aware.
If this is a design oversight or intentional, I would consider some method of communication:uhoh bet you I just carn't see the wood for the trees.

I appreciate the anti spam sentiment. I dont know enough to even presume an arguement with that.
I would put a note on the community page itself if it was possible for the mediator to do so....nudge, nudge wink wink. or how about the invitation being personalised?
Just seems a shame not to beable to say anything at least at the initial stage.
N.B. this is good willed enquiries and not feather ruffling guff.
