We have had 14+ inches of rain in the last 3 days. It is pretty crazy here.

Some buildings in Amesbury, MASS yesterday...

This used to be someone's lawn. This is runoff from I-495

This morning I watched an entire marina break free from it's moorings and float away.

    Dang!

That's some serious water you've got over the last few days.

Wow! I'd seen some images on the news, the damn in Milton got most of the attention (did it hold?), but some of these shots take the cake!

This is what Western, MA looked like last year - the Green and Connecticut took over lots of real estate out here. I'm in DC right now, and hope I don't come back to my lawn looking like some of those!

As above the news just didn't do it justice. All they've been able to talk about here is how the qualifying for the 500 was rained out all weekend. Really relevant there kidsrolleyes1.gif .

Any word on how things are in Haverhill? I've got a bunch of family up there and haven't talked to them since Friday morning. Thanks!

Haverhill is only 10 min away down 495, cannot be much better there. The Merrimack is supposed to crest today at 2PM. That should be the worst of it. I wish I had the day off so I could shoot all day. I will be out of here at 5:59 to salvage what daylight I can. More to come for sure...

Alright, It's been awhile since I've been out there I couldn;t remember exactly where Newburyport and Amesbury were in relation to Haverhill. Most of the family lives up in Bradford by the college so I think they should be alright. I will try and give a call this afternoon.

    Thanks,
