Eastern Box Turtle

She arrived yesterday and burrowed into the pine straw to lays her eggs. I am hoping to catch a photo when they hatch out. Sorry! I posted as an Eastern Box turtle, but I believe it is an Eastern Painted turtle instead.

    Interesting colors on that guy. I would love to see a closer shot of him if it could be gotten w/o distrubing him.

    I would love to get a closer shot - But, she has burrowed into the mulch to lay eggs. I hope to get a shot of the whole family when the eggs hatch. I am checking the site a couple of times a day.
