This is at the end of the shuttle line, and about a one mile walk up the riverwalk. I parked myself on a rock in the middle of the river.

This about half a mile closer to the shuttle stop, facing down canyon.

The first is beautiful. The river walk is one of the nicest walks in the park.

Stuck here in this large conference room, I'm ultimately green with envy!

Thanks, guys. Zion's a pretty cool place. Though I'm sure in the right hands, doc's conference room would look as nice. naughty.gif

    Is that a dare?

(I'd try if I didn't think the shutter would wake everyone up lol3.gif)

    Sid,

I likee! I love the long exposure to blur the water. I don't suppose you have a comparison photo of number two with a short exposure? The sun reflecting off the water could have its own appeal.

I sure wish I was there.

BTW, and completely off topic, are you a Treb builder? "Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam"

    Thanks,

Time to pull out the unobtrusive 70-200 for some quiet portraits. lol3.gif

Ziggy, the original is a composite of three shots.

Here's a quick, rough treatment of a single shot, showing what you're asking for. I see your point about the water. Without rocks, the smoothing of an ND filter isn't necessarily desirable.

    And no, I don't build trebuchets! lol3.gif
