Yeah, I didn't think these would really have a moving effect on anybody. I suppose these are more of an artsy run-of-the-mill photo's.

For me to be into it -
The powerlines kind of throw me off a bit. Could be used, but I think maybe in a wider panorama style mode. Maybe.
Also - a longer shutter speed, or a night with faster clouds (more wind) may evoke more of the theme's you seem to have gone for.
I do like how the moon's peeking out from behind the clouds in #1.

Zoom, I used a long exposure, 15s and 20s. Since the clouds were the only thing moving, they have the motion.
