backyard birds

No egrets unfortunately but these were hanging around the back garden today:

f8, iso 1600 ( a cloudy day ), 1/400 or so. 400 5.6+extender. Hopefully the practice will pay off if I ever make it to merrit island:rofl

    Yes wonderful exposure on the first bird, very pretty bird I might add. Nice Ec-Dove too.

    Luck was as much a factor as skill Harry mwink.gif . I just want to keep my membership up to date.

    Thanks Thusie, I haven't seen the dove hanging around before. I got a bird table and was hoping to attract the smaller birds but the crows and magpies are hogging the food.

    I'm having bird envy. Wonderful shots. I don't think you need to practice much.. you seem to have it down pretty well with these shots!!
