Had the pleasure of working with Sheli yesterday. She is interested in getting work as a model so I told her I would take some photographs for her. Here are just a few. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment. Have a great afternoon.

Hey, Thanks to all for the reponse. I agree that they were lacking some punch. So we did a little tweaking, sharpening and just played around with them and came up with these. Let me know what you think. Thanks for the help

Nice set, Joe. I think you captured her face best in the last two.

I have no knowledge of modeling or studio photography with which to craft a real critique. Personally, I like the natural look of the first one and last two. She has really beautiful eyes and something compeling about her complexion.
    Thank you for sharing.

Love the first and third shots. Natural and beautiful. Nice location for that 3rd shot.

The 4th shot is nice as well. The upper portion of the shot has some great lighting. But, I find the lower portion perhaps a bit too dark - having only the toes stand out is a bit distracting in the photo.

    Overall, great shots.

she is very pretty, she has unique features which is going to help her in the modeling industry.
my personal favorite is the last one because of the treatment you gave it. i would maybe try to do that treatment with another shot like that but without her expression, because it kind of distracts from the nice pose, and i'll admit it does show personality, but it's just not the most attractive face ever, but you know sometimes models aren't always suppossed to look really pretty so who knows? lol.
well to re-cap after my rambling, the pictures are nice. good job.

    Very good overall...
the posing and expressions are useable.

But the first three images look flat (on my monitor anyway) and could use a boost in contrast and sharpening. The third one also appears a bit too dark.

Nice looking lady, and your shots definately have potential.
If every keystroke was a shutter press I'd be a pro by now...
